Context
Psalm 31 is a prayer of trust from the midst of distress, slander, and danger. Its language of entrusting oneself to God belongs to a larger movement of refuge, deliverance, and steadfast confidence in the Lord.

His final words are not a request at all. They are pure release — Himself, placed entirely into the Father's hands, with nothing held back and nothing left to ask for. Intercession without control. Anguish without demand. Surrender without condition. These three prayers, spoken in the worst hours of His life, are the same prayer Gethsemane modeled — just carried all the way through to the end.
